About the CFCF
The Calgary Firefighters Charitable Foundation (CF2) is a CRA registered Charity whose mission is to support our citizens in their time of need. This foundation was built on the objective to provide an additional layer of support to the community immediately following an emergency.
As Firefighters, we see firsthand the challenges of the emergency scenes, and once dealt with, we pack up our equipment, clean up what we can, and prepare for the next crisis. After our shifts have ended, instead of walking away, CF2 gives firefighters the opportunity to provide some immediate relief to those in crisis. Having the ability to provide this additional comfort and compassion to the people we help allows for a stronger connection to our community.
Our Foundation strives to assist those affected by disaster whether it be fire, flood, motor vehicle accidents or medical emergencies by providing either financial assistance, education, or resource support.
We are not done when the firetrucks leave, we are only beginning
